Tabitha Collins Every time I take a bath I think of my Ironman. When I got back to my room my friends had a tub of ice water waiting for me. I got in without taking my uniform off and cldnt put my feet in so my legs were propped up on the side of the tub and I was screaming...I looked like I was in labor. I also refused to move when I had to pee....haha good times GO TEAM! I miss yall...best friends, my momma and TNT!

Put the Glass Down
When you leave office today.
... Study this small story.Hope that makes a BIG change in YOU.
A Professor began his class by holding up
a glass with some water in it.
He held it up for all to see & asked the students
“How much do you think this glass weighs?”
'50g!' ....
'100g!' ..... '125g'
..the students answered.
“I really don't know unless I weigh it,”
said the professor,
“but, my question is:
What would happen if I held it up like this
for a few minutes?”
'Nothing' …..the students said.
'Ok what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?' the professor asked.
'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the student.
“You're right, now what would happen
if I held it for a day?”
“Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress & paralysis &
have to go to hospital for sure!”
… ventured another student
& all the students laughed …
“Very good, But during all this,
did the weight of the glass change?”
asked the professor.
‘No’…. Was the answer.
“Then what caused the arm ache &
the muscle stress?”
The students were puzzled.
“What should I do now to come out of pain?”
asked professor again.
‘Put the glass down!’ said one of the students.
“Exactly!” said the professor.
Life's problems are something like this.
Hold it for a few minutes in your head &
they seem OK.
Think of them for a long time &
they begin to ache.
Hold it even longer &
they begin to paralyze you.
You will not be able to do anything.
It's important to think of the challenges or problems in your life,
but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT is to
‘PUT THEM DOWN’
at the end of every day before
You go to sleep.
That way, you are not stressed,
you wake up every day fresh &
strong & can handle any issue,
any challenge that comes your way!

However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this; it could save their lives!! En primer lugar, se debe manifestar que las causas de injusticia social que encendieron los motores de la confrontación armada no están del todo resueltos.
Centenares, miles, millones de salvadoreños han tenido que salir de sus lugares de origen porque no encuentra trabajo ni bienestar, sino en el extranjero.
Los derechos sociales y laborales siguen siendo violados a diario. Una empresa se niega a la existencia del sindicalismo en su interior, cierra sus puertas y echa a sus empleados de manera inmisericorde. El Estado no puede hacer nada por ello. ¿A quién defiende el Estado?
La violencia criminal es inaudita. Ha llegado a términos jamás vistos. En 10 años han sido asesinadas 40.000 personas, 80 por ciento de ellos han quedado en la impunidad.
En cuanto a los derechos humanos, la impunidad que padecen las víctimas de antes, durante y posterior a la guerra civil evidencia que la paz no puede llegar al corazón de los salvadoreños.
Hasta los casos más emblemáticos de crímenes de lesa humanidad, como el del Arzobispo Oscar Romero, la Masacre de los Sacerdotes Jesuitas, las masacres de El Mozote y El Sumpul, y así como el asesinato del escritor Roque Dalton, permanecen en la impunidad.
La pregunta en el 20 aniversario de los Acuerdos de Paz es: ¿Es cierta la Paz en El Salvador? ¿O sólo es un invento del sistema político local?
